Tellus – The Name

The name “Tellus” has two meanings:

• “Tell Us” from the English means tell us…a story. This still comes from our company in the USA with an internet television station for education. We planned to make learning more interesting and exciting through storytelling. The company only existed from 2016 – 2019, but the idea lives on. Learning should and must be fun.

• “Tellus” is also the Roman goddess for Mother Earth as well as Gaia in Greek mythology. for this there are many references on the internet e.g. a Roman coin or the picture of

Mother Earth in the Jacques Cartier Park in Gatineau, in the Canadian capital Quebec
